PLS no offense meant to anyone, with all respects, I seriously think some reading and reflection will do us a world of good. pls do read St. Louis de Montfort's complete writings to understand the mystery, look at ST. JOHN of the cross reflections mystical pain . the Bible for all its simplicity ain't so. Lets not keep saying HELL is there for some cos GOD's mercy is beyond comprehension, we'd murmur in our supposed righteousness but He is beyond man's constructs, Pls do read Imitation of Christ by Kempis and no one is lesser to be condemned unto HEll for LORD knows not to condemn.I know U'd not like me putting it across like this but We're being not fruitful on dwelling constantly on a place where god of all creation is not, I'd rather keep singing HIs name cos forgiveness is a the tear not in the murmured prayer. We can discuss but pls do read all the saints.......

I appreciate what you've written from your side but doesn't the same bible speak of the shepherd leaving his ninety-nine to find the lost one, doesn't it also speak of a parable where the Lord said the first shall be the last and the last shall the first, All these steps written are for those who want to believe that their sins are forgiven and as humans want to walk through a framed structure but GOd's love and forgiveness doesn't happen like this, Let's not judge between remorse and repentance for God alone knows and judgeth. I hope U find ur answers from the BIBLE and let U reflect on HIS words, they'll listen but not understand... lets not take the literal meanings to a great mystery of the Bible.

"they also serve who merely stand and wait"---Milton.... these words too have the answer....

HELL IS ETERNAL PUNISHMENT FOR THOSE WHO DIE WITHOUT GOD'S FRIENDSHIP.

The Jesus who narrated the parable of the prodigal son, also told us that there is no forgiveness for one rejects God.

Here is what the Bible has to say:

"And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, NEITHER IN THIS WORLD, NEITHER IN THE WORLD TO COME." (Matthew 12:32, KJV)

"And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: WHERE THEIR WORM DIETH NOT, AND THE FIRE IS NOT QUENCHED. And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: WHERE THEIR WORM DIETH NOT, AND THE FIRE IS NOT QUENCHED. And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: WHERE THEIR WORM DIETH NOT, AND THE FIRE IS NOT QUENCHED." (Mark 9:43-45, KJV)

"And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up FOR EVER AND EVER: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his" name. (Revelation 14:12 KJV)

You ought to make a distinction between remorse and repentance. The former was Judas' lot, the latter Peter's salvation. The sacrament of reconciliation is not complete with absolution. Three things make it up - Contrition, Confession, and Satisfaction. The absolution given presupposes the third.

Thank God For He moves me, Please do share the Montfort's writings on Devotion to Our Mother to all. Wisdom is God's spirit and I pray She moves in us all. I Believe forgiveness of sin washes away the faintest stain of sin and its invading memories which haunt the reservoirs of senses within the soul. Our Lord Still carries the crucifix to save each soul. Lets contemplate on the dolorous passions of our Lord and the sacred sorrowful heart of our Mother.

Do speak, if U think its good discussion, lets see what God chooses to reveal through those discussions on God and the place where He is said not to be. God bless you.

You seem to be reading a lot of good books. Unfortunately I don't have those books nor enough time to read them. But yes I love to read them.
I received your mail so its ok for you to mail me there. And thank you for your interest.
About hell and God I think that can be a great topic for discussion. I will surely ask my friends thoughts on this. And ofcourse our little wisdom is just not enough to understand the greatness of God. So whatever you've said could be just as possible.

Yes I agree with U to the extent hell is eternally damned but remember the Parable of the shepherd where the shepherd goes and finds his lost sheep, thats exactly what god will do even if one soul is lost in hell. HIs Love is beyond measure for sure and also the Virgin Mother will plead the lost soul's case. You might ve read st.Augustine's Confessions, nw he was a sinner but his mother monica wept so much that God chose to take her Son and augustine became the doctor of the church. you know its a famous line from a martyr of the church who said before he died "Hell is eternally empty" nothing is Damned for our Lord wills even that the Fallen angels come back to him, he is not a lord who condemns but a lord who stands by us.god chooses to speak as i continue to read the writings of all the saints.:)

Thank you. Not heard of St. Monfort, but if your saying it seems like similar thoughts then I would surely like to read more abt the saint :) I dono about God's presence in hell. But yes the bible also refers to God as fire, a fire which cannot be imagined by simple humans. I simply reckon that this nature of God as fire is one which cleanses the soul is the fire in purgatory which eternally burns to clean the souls to take them to heaven. Not quite sure of hell coz i feel hell is a place of damnation a place of God's adversary (the satan). Just my thoughts though.
